KIIS Italy Summer 2011
It began as a four week study abroad trip to study Gothic Literature and Responses to Italian Architecture, but my overseas journey to Italy soon became a new way of thinking, lifelong friendships, and an incomparable cultural experience. My experience in Italy hardly can be called a "trip," and it is hard for me to place a label on the opportunity that KIIS gave me.
